Usui Reiki Training in Bournemouth

Reiki has grown rapidly to become one of the most popular healing arts in the world today.

The history of Reiki has become a part of legend and today millions know the story of how the theologian Dr Usui sought to re-discover the principles behind healing, as evidenced in sacred truths.

After decades of research it is

said that he discovered some ancient texts in a monastery which explained the healing process - but they didn't explain the 'activating method' by which healing was made possible.

So, to further his quest, Dr Usui entered into the time-honored tradition of meditation, prayer and fasting in order to draw near to the Ultimate Source of Goodness. As a result, at the end of a sustained three-week period, just before Dawn, in a spectacular way, Dr. Usui is said to have mystically received knowledge of some sacred symbols through which Reiki healing could occur.

A number of healing miracles are reported to have followed this spiritua l experience by which validation was provided to Dr Usui for the efficacy of Reiki.

Our Reiki Training

In keeping with established practice we offer the following courses:

Reiki Level I

This programme takes place during one day's training. A number of 'attunements' occur and you will learn about the history of Reiki and begin to practice the art of hands-on healing. By the end of the day's training you will have received and given a number of Reiki treatments and you should develop a firm foundation in the art of Reiki healing.

Reiki Level II

This programme takes place over two consecutive days after sufficient time has been allowed to occur (usually at least 3 months) since your Reiki Level I training, in order to pro vide you with time to practice using your Reiki Level I skills in preparation for enrolling on a Reiki Level II programme.

A number of further 'attunements' occur and you will learn about the special Reiki symbols which are incorporated by many Reiki healers into their work, based on Dr Usui's experience.

Reiki Level II is considered to be a practitioner level.

By the end of the two days you will have received and given a number of Reiki treatments incorporating the special symbols and you will have taken your competence to another stage of development.
