A turning point in my life...

A number of years ago I worked for a large employer which had offices in practically every town and city in the UK. One day, soon after I'd started working for the organisation a woman that I'll call Jenny (not her real name) reached retirement age. She'd been working for the business for 19 years. She seemed indispensable. Irreplaceable. But was she? How long would the memory of her last?

Anyway, Friday came and Jenny was duly thanked for her services ...everyone clapped and smiled warmly at her - and then she was gone. I remember wondering what it would be like on Monday without Jenny with us. Monday came, and I don't remember Jenny even being mentioned once! Things went on as normal and it was if Jenny had never been. Like she'd been airbrushed out of existence! I was amazed at how quickly she was forgotten.

This moment left an indelible imprint upon me. Soon afterwards I began training to become a hypnotherapist. I knew that I wanted my life to amount to something much more enduring. And the rest is history, as people say.

Now I get to work with all kinds of people, including TV and radio presenters... to doctors and nurses.

Life is too important to waste doing something that can be forgotten in a heartbeat, isn't it? Jenny's example inspired me to make sure that my career would be my vocation and that it would positively impact others so that the ripples would keep spreading far and wide in amazing ways. And today I'm pleased to say, that's how it is for me.
